Gamersany, Yeshua-Andre
Son of Efrayim and Emily. He was born on the 29th of Sivan 5702 (June 14, 1942) in Sfax, Tunisia, where he graduated from elementary school. He later learned the profession of plumber, but after a few years he abandoned this work and moved to work with his father in a barrel factory. Thus he became interested in commerce at a young age. He wanted to know the world and loved to wander in foreign lands. In 1962 he left Tunisia and went to live in France. Where he was drafted into the French army and spent his time in the Sahara. After his military service, he opened a candy store in Paris, but later decided to immigrate to Israel. Yeshua came to Israel – first as a tourist and after a period of six months, decided to stay there as an immigrant, with all the rights and obligations involved. In May 1969 he was called up for reserve duty for a period of three months. Light on the 15th of Sivan 5729 (31.5.1969), passed away. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in the village of Warburg.
