Fuller, Aviva

Fuller, Aviva

Daughter of Moshe and Julian. Born on April 16, 1933 in Tel Aviv, she completed her studies at the Balfour Hebrew Gymnasium in Tel Aviv with honors, and from her youth joined the Hagana and served in the Gadna, out of dedication and risk. After completing her studies at the Gymnasia, she entered the Hebrew University in Jerusalem for the Humanities Department, because she was committed to being a teacher of literature. When she reached the army in August 1951, she went out to fulfill her obligation with joy and discipline, but after about a year she fell ill and died on the 4th of Tishrei 5713 (October 4, 1952.) Shortly after her death, a book appeared in her memory, which included her letters, essays and photographs, plus condolences and memoirs.
