Friedman, Boaz
Son of Avraham and rest. He was born on the 25th of March 1947 in Tel Aviv. He began his studies at the “Hagefen” school in Haifa and graduated from the “Yavneh” school in the city. He belonged to the Scouts movement and was also a member of the Bnei Akiva movement. Boaz continued his studies at the high school yeshiva in Kiryat Shmuel near Haifa and in the vocational high school in Kiryat Shprinzak. Baruch-Talent was Boaz and loved to deepen my thoughts. He loved and studied the Hebrew language and was close to Talmud study. The rabbis had a playboy, and the professors, who were walking nearby, were amazed at his wisdom. According to his attributes, he could be seen as a man of kindness and his friends (who had participated in his funeral) telling each other about a good deed Boaz had done with him and for the help he had given him when necessary. In November 1965, he was drafted into the IDF and served in the Engineering Corps. On July 7, 1968, his commander in the Israel Defense Forces spoke about his sense of responsibility and his ingenuity in carrying out the most difficult tasks in his unit. Boaz wrote a list in memory of his friend, Moshe Tal, on the anniversary of his death, and this was published (in the weekly “Face to Face”) a month after Boaz finished writing the list; In which he was very good at providing a psychological analysis of his friend’s soul, in understanding its qualities and in evaluating them. This list attests to his very virtue and his ability to lift. Except for the contents of the list, the name of the linguistic sense that was taken from the sources is revealed. Even in his essay on the story of Albert Camus (“The Stranger”), which remained in the writings, Boaz was able to analyze the work of this French thinker and poet and even the qualities of the author.
