Frenkel, Avraham-Aharon


Son of Esther and Moshe, was born on October 13, 1930 in Jerusalem, his first teacher was his father, Rabbi Moshe Frenkel, who for many years was a teacher at the Bilu school in Tel Aviv. From this school, Avraham moved to the Tachkemoni school. At an early age, he joined the Irgun underground and fought in the first phase of the War of Independence in an attack on Ramle on May 16, 1948 and four days later, on May 20, 1948, died of his wounds. In the Nahalat Yitzhak military cemetery.
