Feingold, Haim (Howard)


Son of Lewis pink. He was born on the 11th of Tamuz 5762 (11.6.1952) from Eldan, Massachusetts, United States. He immigrated to Israel in 1975. He completed his elementary and high school studies in the United States, and completed high school and college at the University of Jerash, Sac. Mount, College, USA. As a child, he was a member of the Scout movement, and in this movement he played for the base and football teams in his place of residence. He loved to read and engage in literature, and he also practiced sports, work, and social activities. In May 1974 he began studying in Ulpan, Israel, on Kibbutz Kfar Ruppin, where he studied Hebrew and worked for ten months. Afterward, he decided to immigrate to Israel, and he became an Israeli citizen and moved to Kibbutz Afik in the Golan Heights. In September 1975, he was drafted into the IDF, and was able to serve for about a month as part of a new recruits department, consisting of new immigrant soldiers and volunteers who came from different countries and lived in kibbutzim throughout the country. He was a good boy in the kibbutz, but inside he was a close-knit guy who loved to be alone, and he loved to work in the children’s home and to take care of the children on the 9th of Cheshvan 5736 (October 9, 1975). At the request of his family he was brought to rest in the United States. Survived by his parents and sister.
