Eliyahu, Paz

Paz, son of Rachel and Uri Eliyahu, was born in Kibbutz Evron, near Nahariya, in 1992. He served as a combat soldier in the paratroopers, took an officers’ course, and continued as an officer in the unit. Paz fell in battle during Operation Tzuk Eitan on 25 Tamuz, July 23, 2014. Paz was twenty-two years old when he fell. He was laid to rest in the cemetery of Kibbutz Evron. Survived by his parents and two brothers. After his fall, Paz was promoted to lieutenant.
