Eliyahu, Moshe (Misha)


Son of Eliyahu and Salha. He was born in 1934 in Baghdad, Iraq, and immigrated to Israel in 1950. After completing his studies in elementary school, Moshe joined the IDF in early 1952. He was a good soldier, disciplined and admired The soldiers and the commanders in his unit. In the course of his service he reached the rank of Corporal and after completing his regular service, he would go on reserve duty once in a while, and during the last week of February 1972 he received an invitation to call for active reserve duty on the 10th of Adar 5732 (10.3.1972) He left a wife, two sons and a daughter, and was brought to rest in the Kiryat Shaul military cemetery.
