Eisenman, Shmuel
Son of Friedrich and Batya. He was born on May 11, 1947 in Jerusalem. He studied at the Neve Ya’akov elementary school in Jerusalem and after graduating studied at the Lipschitz Teachers’ Seminary in Jerusalem. Thanks to his tendency to music, he moved to high school at the Jerusalem Academy of Music. For five years he was a member of the Municipal Youth Orchestra (as a saxophone player) and during his spare time learned to play piano and play the accordion. He also began to write light musical works, from which he studied in academia and at school. He was one of the first members of the orchestra to play serious musical compositions and one of its best musicians. He joined the IDF in the middle of August 1966. Or on the 8th of Sivan 5729 (May 24, 1969), he was killed by enemy snipers north of Kantara. Was laid to rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
