Eini (Pike), Abraham

Son of David and Jamila. He was born on April 8, 1951 in Haifa and studied at the Yavneh Elementary School in Kfar Ata, where he enjoyed sports and was a member of the local youth club and the Hapoel Kiryat Ata. His enlistment faithfully processed three farms in Kiryat Bialik, whose owners traveled abroad and left the care on Abraham’s young and strong shoulders, knowing that Abraham could be trusted. Avraham was drafted into the IDF at the beginning of May 1969 and assigned to the Armored Corps, and his parents only saw him once since his enlistment, because about a month later, on the 10th of June 1969, he fell in enemy shelling in the Suez Canal area. He was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Haifa and his parents donated a Torah scroll to the Elijah Hanavi Synagogue in Kiryat Ata, commemorating his students who fell in Israel’s wars. And was named after the football team of “Hapoel” Kiryat Ata, which increased in a tournament on a youth group composed of students from the school in the Kirya.
