Eileen, Tameru (Tomer)


Son of Gant and Adguacao (Danny). He was born on the 16th of Heshvan 5742 (16.11.1981) in Ethiopia. Brother to Bath, Deslio, Derba, Yangsu, Azmara, Mimi and Sarah. He grew up in Ethiopia until 1991, when the family immigrated to Israel and settled in Yavne. He studied at the Amit elementary school in Yavneh and completed his studies at the Mikveh Israel high school. He had grown up to be a tall, handsome young man with a smile always on his face, a smile that even people he did not know had promoted. He was a good student, who liked to help his friends in any way. Tameru played a lot of sports and excelled in his physical fitness. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his good friends and listening to music he loved very much – rap music, reggae and black music. He even wrote his own music in these styles. In July 2001, he joined the IDF and began his service as a combat soldier in the Givati ​​Brigade, where he came to the army with a strong desire to serve the country, and became a member of the unit. He was promoted to Corporal. On the 25th of May 2002, Tameru fell during his service at the age of twenty-one. He was laid to rest in the military section of the cemetery in Yavneh. Survived by his parents, brothers and sisters.
