Efrat, Yaron

Ben Drora and Yosef Was born on 17.10.1961 in Nahariya. Yaron was drafted into the IDF in July 1979. After completing his basic training, he was sent to the IAF Squadron as a steering control technician, and was asked to undergo a training course. Yaron’s commanders point out that he was a brilliant and intelligent soldier, learned the new subjects well and was able to give enlightening lectures, and his friends in the unit defined him as witty, clever and striving for perfection in his actions. And with his friends from the audience and from the school on the 16th of Cheshvan MA (26/10/1980) fell Yaron while serving and was buried in the military cemetery in Nahariya. He is survived by his parents and a brother. In a letter of condolence to the bereaved family, wrote to his commander: “Yaron’s death shocked all those who knew him closely. The integrity, the cleverness, the thoroughness and the aspiration for Yaron’s perfection were beyond what can be encountered in everyday life. His name will be commemorated in the tradition room of the unit. “
