Efraimov, Daniel
Ben Asya and Baruch. He was born on June 19, 1970 in the Soviet Union and immigrated to Israel with his family in 1976. Daniel was the seventh son of his family and was followed by four other children. When Daniel’s parents arrived in Israel and settled in Karmiel, they already had nine children. Two other children were born in Karmiel. Daniel began his studies at the “Hadkel” elementary school in Carmiel and continued at Ort Horowitz High School, where he studied mechanics and graduated with honors. Daniel was a boy with broad ambitions for his future, yet he knew he had to take care of his family as well and supported her as a boy. At the end of August 1989, Daniel joined the IDF and was assigned to serve in a unit in Kiryat Shmona, where he was offered a service in the regular army, and Daniel was sent to the course of work and safety at work. On July 22, 1995, in a car accident that occurred near the Bat Shlomo intersection, Daniel fell during his service, and was twenty-five years old when he fell. He was survived by his parents and ten brothers and sisters – Asher, Shim, Sarah, Robert, Jacob, Adam, Rachel, Hand, Ester and Carmela. The family of Daniel commemorating Jewish library donated to the synagogue “Beit El” in Karmiel. Condolence letter to the family unit commander wrote to Daniel: “Daniel always did his best. He was never deterred from going to work in the most dangerous outposts in southern Lebanon, and was always ready to get up first and contribute his part of the work, as part of the unit’s armaments division. Daniel was a good friend to everyone around him and a guy who could always be trusted, both as a professional and as a friend. “
