Drori (Resnick), Yechiel


Son of Baruch and Mina. He was born on April 14, 1908, in the city of Drohichin, Poland. He was a counselor in the He – Chaluts ha – Tsa’ir youth movement, Freiheit and Poalei Zion, and was vice – chairman of Hapoel in Warsaw. He was also active in the movement’s press and participated in many articles. He had a penchant for art and showed talent for painting. He immigrated to Israel in 1935 and later took part in special courses in preparation for the Hagana. In September 1948, he was drafted into the IDF and participated in the War of Independence, and since then he has not left the army and remained in the permanent army, but on 7 July 1962 Kiryat Shaul. He left a wife and two daughters.
