Drava, Gisau

Gisau, son of Torango and Barry Drava, was born in Ethiopia in 1984. When he was seven years old, his family immigrated to Israel and settled in Netivot. Gisau liked sports, showed talent in football and played for a short time in a football team in Netivot. In November 2003, Gisau joined the IDF and served in the Golani Brigade. Gisau was injured in a road accident and died of his wounds on February 25,2005., He was laid to rest in the military section of the cemetery in Netivot. He was twenty-one years old when he fell. Survived by his parents and seven brothers and sisters.
