He married a wife and moved to Rehovot in 1936. Nissim worked as a driver in the Matagav Cooperative, And his regular job was to lead goods from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, and he was a handsome, strong, tall and black-eyed man, cheerful, courteous and clever, who loved to sing, walk and joke, and in his profession he was considered an artist. “And in 1939, Arab gangs ambushed every Jewish vehicle on the roads, and many drivers stopped their work due to the danger, but even when the murder cases increased in particular, Nissim did not abandon his post C citrus leading to Jerusalem. Those traveling missions fulfilled by the National Military Organization. “Not people like me, Beitar, shrink from the danger.”, He said. On the 25th of Shvat, 5708 (25.1.1938), Nissim went to Jerusalem with Joseph son of-Shimon Lulu, aged 24, and his truck loaded with oranges. At the 54th kilometer near the Arab village of Lifta, a few Arabs stormed the car, threw a bomb at it and opened fire. Nissim grabbed his rifle and, despite being severely wounded in the face and all parts of his body, did not stop shooting the attackers until the last bullet. At noon, Egged bus driver Benjamin Idelman discovered the truck standing by the side of the road with the two young men bathed in their blood. His funeral, which took place in Rehovot with the participation of some 3,000 people, including many delegations of drivers, turned into a demonstration against the government for road security and the provision of weapons to drivers. Nissim was buried in the cemetery in Rehovot. Left a wife and a 6-month-old child. In the Davar newspaper on February 18, 1938, a list was published in his memory.
