Dominsky, Rami


Ben Sarah and Zvi. He was born on April 30, 1953, in Ramat Gan. He grew up, was educated and lived all his life in his hometown. He attended the Shilo Elementary School and continued his high school studies at the New High School in Tel Aviv. Rami was active in his youth, the movement of the spectators, a music lover and a musical talent. He played the clarinet, the recorder and the harmonica. He also had the wisdom of the hands and was able to skillfully create and repair useful objects. He was a nature and hiking enthusiast and a member of the Wanderers’ Circle. Rami was a modest man with the ability to listen to others and a constant willingness to help, with good humor and humor. In August 1971, he was drafted into the army and was assigned to the IDF as a tank driver, and was discharged from the service at the Technion, where he worked for the Israel Electric Corporation and was called up for reserve duty at the height of the Gulf War when his hometown of Ramat Gan was under attack by Iraqi Scud missiles. He fell during his duty on 8 January 1991 in a training accident and was laid to rest at the Kiryat Shaul military cemetery. He left behind a woman – Deborah, parents and a sister – Nurit.
