Good luck. He was born on the 27th of Cheshvan 5707 (October 23, 1955) in Rehovot Ezra, the son of Yemenite parents who immigrated to Israel a few years before his birth, brother to Shoshana, Ziona and Ora, grew up in a traditional, warm and loving family, He graduated from Yeshurun ​​and completed his high school studies at the New High School, where Ezra was a good student, loved by his teachers and friends. At the end of basic training, he was assigned to the artillery corps as a tank driver. He saw the army in his home and did his work out of a sense of mission and responsibility. At the end of his regular service, Ezra joined the ranks of the career army. His permanent service began in January 1977 and continued for twenty-one years thereafter. He served in a variety of positions in the Artillery and Maintenance Corps, and performed them professionally. His commanders praised the devotion, diligence and initiative that characterized all his work. The extensive experience and knowledge accumulated throughout his years of work have made him an asset for every unit in which he served. Ezra was not only outstanding for his quality of work, but also for his qualities as a person: modesty and humility. Out of generosity and love of others he always made efforts to help and give whatever he could to those who needed him. His endless support and encouragement helped many soldiers in their difficult times. Over the years Ezra married and became the father of two daughters – two and bad – but his marriage did not succeed. After his divorce from his wife, he raised his two daughters on his own. Ezra, an exemplary family man, was careful about their upbringing. In leisure, he enjoys listening to music, solving crossword puzzles and reading, especially suspense, action, and biographies of people whose lives have fascinated his imagination. He made sure to engage in varied sports activities and traveled extensively throughout the country. On the 28th of Cheshvan 5758 (28.11.1997) Ezra died of a serious illness and he was forty-two years old. He was laid to rest in the civil cemetery in Rishon Letzion, near his father’s grave. Survived by two daughters, a mother and three sisters.
