Dadush, Shalom
Son of Regina and Isaac. Shalom was born in Libya on April 21, 1924. After arriving in Israel Shalom was a man of great deeds and activity in the security forces around the world, and was one of the organizers of the defense and arms smuggling before the establishment of the state. “At the end of the Six-Day War, Shalom was appointed commander of the Gaza Strip He lived in Rishon Letzion with his wife Anis and his four children: Yitzhak, Fada Zur, Malka and Ronit, despite his strenuous work He spent a lot of time nurturing his children, and devoted warmth and love to them, Shalom loved the field of art, was interested in sculpture, graphics and painting, and he loved traveling with his family and children. Shalom went to the hospital every day to help and care for his son and friends lying beside him at the hospital. On the 11th of Elul 5709 (3.9.1979), Superintendent Shalom passed away after fighting a serious illness. Fifty-five years old. He was buried in the cemetery in Rishon Letzion. He left behind a wife and four children.
