Conwieser, Vyacheslav (Slava)
He was born in the city of Gomel, Belarus, on July 28, 1976. Salva grew up in his hometown until 1990, when his family immigrated to Israel and settled in Haifa, where he continued his studies at the Technical High School At the Samit, Haifa. He completed his high school studies in 1995, with a full matriculation certificate and an electrical technician’s certificate. Slava was a very sociable boy who was always the thread connecting all the friends, attracted to him and loved to be with him. Slava was a weightlifting practitioner, a hobby and bodybuilding. In his free time he liked to read books and play computer games. In the middle of July 1994, Salva enlisted in the IDF, and after completing basic training he went to study electrical technology as part of the technological reserve. After finishing a professional course at the Air Force Technical School, he was assigned to a technical service unit at the Ramat David base as five in the squadron. Salva was very pleased with his job and loved the service in the IDF, and he proved himself to be a professional, disciplined soldier with high personal achievements, On the 13th of Cheshvan 5759 (1.11.1998), Slava was killed in a car accident that occurred while he was on his way to his home at the end of a work day at the base, and he was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Haifa. The chief of staff at the time, Lieutenant General Shaul Mofaz, wrote: “Vyacheslav, blessed memory, was described by his commanders against a professional who committed Duties diligently and with determination. Vyacheslav stood with a smile and the joy of life, helping those around him at all times and was liked and accepted by superiors and friends alike. ” Lt. Col.
