Cohen, Yona

Son of-Sarah and Nathan (Nachum) was born on May 2, 1918, in Vienna, the capital of Austria, where he completed an elementary school in the city and later studied the profession of gardening and worked there. He trained in military training in order to enter the Hagana organization, and in 1938 he immigrated to Eretz Israel and joined the Kibbutz Movement. Haifa had to work to accumulate a little money to arrange his parents when they arrived in Israel, but his hopes were turned down and he was a member of the Haganah.
