Ben Ziona and Shukurla. He was born in 1958 in Iran to a large family who immigrated to Israel that year and settled in Yavneh, where his family consisted of fifteen brothers and sisters and after the father’s death, In Yavneh, continued to study at the Sde Boker College and finished his studies at the Hadassah Neurim Junior High School, as a mechanical engineering engineer, and was a quiet and humble young man who loved his surroundings and did everything for his friends and family. Pre-military. In February 1977, Sasson was drafted into a military service and was assigned to serve in the Engineering Corps, and after completing his basic training, Sasson took a course in truck drivers and heavy equipment operators. In his periodic reports, his commanders noted him as “honest, sociable, doing what is required of him with dedication;” “Disciplined, sociable and persistent in performing his works;” “Against disciplined, diligent, working under conditions that are not conditions, with good professional knowledge.” During his last service he served as a tractor operator in the Gaza government. On the 16th of Tevet 5762 (16.12.1991), Sgt. Sasson fell in the line of duty and was laid to rest in the military section of the cemetery in Yavneh. Survived by fourteen brothers and sisters.
