Cohen, Moshe

Son of Abraham (HaKohen) and queen. He was born on the 11th of Sivan 5706 (June 11, 1946) in Tel Aviv. Graduated from the Geula Elementary School. When he was at school, he joined the Scouts movement at the age of 12. After graduating from the Geula School he worked during the day and dedicated the Arabs to a vocational school until he received a professional diploma. His childhood friends from the Scouts movement were drafted into the IDF in September 1964 as part of the Nahal Brigade, and fell during the performance of his duties on April 21, 1965, and were brought to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. His name and place were erected in his memory, and a library was established in his name in Moshav Birnit.
