Together they studied, together they grew up, played soccer together and enjoyed themselves. “We loved to sit on the same bench, tell jokes and perhaps plan the next trip to Eilat, and we all remember you only for the best.” The friends said about Lior: “The most charming guy we knew, the good person who helped us all. In August 2000, Lior enlisted in the IDF, where he took a heavy driving course and a crane course in Manof, and served in Tzrifin in these positions. Lior joined the unit: “A quiet soldier with a small smile, who always volunteers for every mission, and I never heard the word ‘no’ from you,” said his commander, Lt. Gen. Yossi. During his service he was promoted to sergeant. Lior’s direct commander, Lt. Col. Moshe, spoke about Lior’s willingness to help with any task without being asked, and for his professionalism, because of his lack of manpower. Lior became his direct assistant, and in fact, . On July 28, 2002, Lior was supposed to receive a certificate of excellence from the commander of the unit for his activity and function, but did not receive it. Lior, a friend of Lior, who studied with him in high school and served on the same basis: “How does a finger color the same terrible lack, the same vacuum that you left and it seems that it will pass And only in a little while will you return … We went a long way together Lior. Brotherhood of brotherhood, jokes and smiles that only we know, shared entertainment, friends and friends. Black hair with thorns, a humble smile like angels. I was not even able to say good-bye, I did not have time to tell you how much I love you, I did not have time to say that I would miss and miss a friend. In the heavens, with the smile of angels, I’ll leave you, Lior, always in the loop … “The parents write:” The flower in our garden has stopped because you are no longer with us here. You were a ray of heaven, with a shy smile on your lips. You loved to make us laugh, and your gift will stay with us. We ask God to keep you up there. We will always remember you in our hearts. “Lior’s memory has been set up at www.liorcohen.up.co.il.
