Cohen, Hanania
Son of Machluf and Tamar. He was born in Morocco in 1947. At the age of five he was a mother of two, and after two years in 1953, the family immigrated to Israel and Hananya began studying at the religious elementary school in Moshav Brosh in the Ta’anach district where the family settled. After graduating from elementary school, he did not continue high school because of the economic situation in the house and the lack of hands to help the farm.Hanania joined the family until 1962, when the family left Moshav Brosh and moved to a full moshav in that part of the country. Hananiah was kind and generous to all, and to every friend who asked for his help, In his profession, a driver said to come to the aid of his family even after he had completed his compulsory service, but he did not come to that day, because on the 19th of Adar 5728 (9.3.1968) was killed while serving in the Golan Heights, and was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Afula, and his unit commander wrote in a letter of condolence to his parents: “Hanania was quiet by nature and did his job in the best possible way. He was therefore one of the best drivers in the unit, who did not stop his work day and night, driving to any place required and meticulous handling of the vehicle. His commanders and friends will not soon forget his image as a model soldier and a loyal friend. “
