He was a member of the “Real Scouts” in Haifa and spent three years in the “Sea Scouts” in the city. He was kind, loved by his friends and a model son of his parents, who boasted and prided him on his nobility, his pleasant manner and his way of life, toward every person and especially his parents. Baruch was drafted into the IDF in August 1969. On July 1, 1971, he died of an illness during his service. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Haifa. His commander wrote to a family that had known Baruch for a little more than a year and found him a young man full of joy of life, healthy humor and uplifting spirit. He also recognized him “as a disciplined and disciplined soldier who did everything he was entrusted with efficiently, accurately and in the best possible way.” Ehud was with all his friends and was always Simcha to help anyone in need. The nurse of the hospital where he had been lying remembered him as a boy who radiated optimism around him and his cheerfulness did not leave him as long as he could speak and speak. Even during his difficult hours, he tried to induce a good atmosphere around him. His family and friends commemorated his memory in a booklet called Baruch.
