Daniel attended the Meir Shfeya Children’s Village and the Mikvah Israel, where he moved to a training camp in Kibbutz Degania and later to the Hadassah group in Hadera, And later immigrated to the settlement of Gezer, where he specialized in the plantation industry, and during the Second World War he joined the British army and served there for several years, when he was in the army in Europe, He also gave the Haganah and the environmental patrols his authority, but from time to time he had to leave the farm and come to the aid of his sisters who remained in Tel Aviv, The caravan was located near the Ramle-Latrun road and the Legion forces in the area saw it as a threat and asked it to be taken in preparation for the approaching cease-fire On June 3, 1948, A Legion Company, irregular forces and armored vehicles, and attacked the kibbutz. Heavy enemy fire destroyed the defensive positions and paralyzed any possibility of organized resistance. The enemy managed to break into the agriculture and conquer it. In this battle he fell, and was brought to rest in the cemetery in Gezer.
