She served as an operator in one of the units, located not far from her home. She loved the life of the army and enjoyed its service. Her letter to her parents attests to her success in carrying out her duties – after being tragically implicated. In her letter, she said: “Her service was impeccable, with great devotion and devotion to the role, and her role in her unit was exemplary and a symbol for all those around her. The tragic and sudden death of Yocheved z “l stunned all her acquaintances and friends.” Yocheved was awarded the best of her army service in less than one year. She was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Rehovot, leaving behind her parents, seven brothers and sisters.
