Son of Mazal and Saadia. He was born on 6 August 1968 in Shaar Efraim, where he was born to his parents from Yemen, who had ten children and completed the religious elementary school in the moshav and was later sent to the Iron High School He returned home and continued to study as an external student at the ORT vocational school in Netanya, where Tamir was active in the company of the boys in which he grew up, he was very enterprising and resourceful, he loved sports and music. A few months before his enlistment, he enrolled in a pre-military driving course and completed successfully.In April 1985, Tamir enlisted in the IDF and began serving in the police force But after a while he asked for a transfer to a base in the center of the country, so that he could engage in leisure time with music and music. He took a cooking course and was assigned to work in the camp kitchen. After working hours and during his vacations he made contact with young people who worked at disco clubs in Tel Aviv, purchased equipment and specialized in the field. In May 1988, while he was vacationing on the occasion of his brother Shuki-Tamir’s wedding, he successfully directed the henna ceremony that preceded the wedding – he was mortally wounded in an accident and fell during his service on 18.5.1988 at the age of nineteen.
