Chasfai, Tikvah (Tiki)


Son of Menashe and Naima. She was born in Kfar Nahman on August 12, 1953. She studied at the local elementary school, continued at the Weizman elementary school in Herzliya and completed her studies at the ORT high school. And was assigned to the liaison corps. After basic training, she completed a course in communications and was sent to a battalion of the Signal Corps in Sinai. At the end of her military service, she volunteered for the permanent army and at her request was later transferred to a liaison unit in the center of the country. She was very successful in her role and was loved by her commanders and members of the unit. The unit’s commander said: “My files played a responsible and important role, and despite my short time with us, she managed to instill in us the feeling that she was a responsible and dedicated soldier, faithful to her commanders and commanders. And a cordial attitude towards everyone around it. ” On the 12th of Tevet 5737 (12.1.1977), Tikva fell while serving in the center of the country. She was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. Survived by her parents, brothers and sisters.
