Chaim, Moshe (“Moshiko”)


Son of Shabtai and Zahava. He was born on July 15, 1936 in Tel Aviv. He came from a family of laborers, from Salonika, Greece. The family immigrated to Israel in 1934 and the father continued his work in Greece and was among the port workers in Haifa. Moshe would earn a living as a truck driver for transportation. He was a member of the Hanoar Haoved movement and had a special tendency to sport. Was conscripted into the IDF in May 1954. After the Six Day War he was in combat, and on Wednesday, 12.6.1967, he fell while performing his duties On the Syrian front. He was buried in the military cemetery in Nahariya and was later transferred to eternal rest in the Kiryat Shaul military cemetery.
