Ben Aliza and Menashe. Jonathan was born in Kfar Sava on December 11, 1956. His mother immigrated to Israel from England and his father from Romania, and settled in Moshav Sde Eliezer in the Upper Galilee, where he grew up and studied at Kibbutz Ayelet When he was 12 years old Yehonatan died, and in 1974 he joined the army and served in the Air Force in an anti-aircraft unit. After the liberation, he worked in the family farm and in odd jobs, such as night shifts in the settlement. In 1979, Jonathan enlisted in the border police and served in the fortress of Kach, and later left the Border Police and went to work for the Israel Police in the Lebanese border unit (Yagal Galil). When he became a security coordinator in his moshav, Sde Eliezer, he returned to the Border Police as a local security coordinator, and during his work in the Border Police in the agricultural sector he acquired many members of the moshavim and kibbutzim in the Upper Galilee. He was devoted to his family and home, devoted his spare time to his widowed mother, supported her in good and bad, and took upon himself to take care of her in old age.
