Son of Zvi and Ruth. He was born on May 3, 1957 in Haifa and studied at the Achdut Elementary School in Kiryat Motzkin, where he continued his studies at the Mazor School for Dental Technicians in Haifa Hagai was a member of the ” And devoted many hours of his free time to activities within the framework of the youth movement and continued this activity until his induction into the IDF. He had many hobbies, including photography and folk dancing; He loved dancing and dancing others in every frame. But his great love was making trips around the country. Every spare moment he devoted to it. Hagai was also aware of the country’s security problems and asked to contribute as much as he could before he enlisted in the IDF. Therefore, he joined the Civil Guard and was active in it for a long time. Hagai was drafted into the IDF in May 1975 and was deployed to the Armored Corps. After basic training, he took a course in tank drivers; Was an outstanding trainee, was sent to a tank commanders course and successfully completed it. “We knew Haggai well, as a cheerful, friendly young man, full of life, he was a kind man and a dedicated and loyal commander, and he carried out his duties perfectly and accurately.” Hagai was very popular with his colleagues in the service, contributed to the formation of the company in the unit and was loved by everyone. On the 17th of Adar 5737 (16.3.1977), Hagai fell while serving in the Golan Heights. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa. Survived by his parents and sister.
