Ben Elizabeth and Danny Haddad. He was born on 24 August 1975 in Be’er Sheva, the second son of a family of three. Almog grew up in Be’er Sheva, where he attended the Shazar elementary school until eighth grade, and two more years of study at the Makif Gimel High School. He worked for two years in the carpentry shop and at the same time participated as a soloist and guitarist in the rock band “Aswad”. In his spare time he played basketball, paint and detail on guitar. In his occupation he expressed his love for music. Almog composed and adapted songs. It was a time when he was full of the pleasures of youth: entertainment with friends, music and parties. He was a sturdy guy who was six feet tall and very active. At the beginning of December 1993, Almog was drafted into the IDF, where he did basic training in the Golani Brigade and was able to participate in the campaign and the swearing-in ceremony, and was very motivated to succeed in the army and serve as a fighter. And his sense of humor, and he managed to be liked by everyone, including his commanders, and he was very friendly with his family and especially with his mother, whose food he loved especially.Malog was in almost daily telephone contact with the house. He helped him with his studies, especially in mathematics, English, and history After completing the service, he already planned for himself, and his dream was to travel to the Far East to go back and open a shop selling musical instruments, a field he knew very well: On the 28th of Adar 5754 (28.2.1994) Almog fell during his service. Survived by his parents, sister-in-law Sharon and brother-in-law, Ruud Almog was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Be’er Sheva, and wrote: “Almog dreamed of belonging to a unique family, the Golani family … and was very proud of it. In his daily life, Almog stood out among his friends. He was motivated and eager to serve in the Golani Brigade with a lot of good humor and joy of life.
