Butevitzki (Stein), Chaya

The daughter of Benjamin Stein. She was born in Poland in 1905 and immigrated to Eretz Israel in 1925. She lived in Haifa, worked as a seamstress, married and gave birth to her son Binyamin, and was sent to serve in Egypt in the Second World War. On March 24, 1943, was killed in a car accident. She was brought to rest in the British military cemetery in Tel el Kabir. She left her son Binyamin, 14, who fell in the War of Independence.
