Ben Sarah and David. He was born on 14.3.1977 at the Sharon Hospital in Petah Tikva. A third son in a family of four, brother to Noam, Dan and Assaf. His name was given to him in the name of his grandfather, his father’s father. The names of the sons were biblical, and so was his name: Joseph was charismatic and influenced his actions and his peaceful, humble and unequivocal way as a bible from the Bible. From an early age, he showed great interest in animals and the family decided to move to Kfar Chitim, where he spent his childhood. Yosef began his studies at Kibbutz Degania Aleph, and at the house he set up a wonderful living corner. Yosef was an avid nature enthusiast, collected animals and raised them, took care of the cleanliness of the environment and was a cleaning trustee through the Ministry of the Environment. He is a member of the Society of Animal Supporters and of course a permanent member of the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel. When he was in sixth grade, the family moved to Tiberias for a while, where he continued his studies at the Kinar elementary school in the city, and raised ducks in a cage hanging on the porch. At the age of twelve, he worked with his mother in a store for crafts and handicrafts that she opened and helped her with everything that he was “a little manager.” As a creative child, he liked to dismantle things in order to examine how they were built, and later he took upon himself to repair everything that had broken down or broken down in the house. When he began his eighth grade studies, his father received a job at the Mer-Meron field school, and Yosef was very excited about the place where he spent his adolescence. Where he set up a living corner, and even prepared a color scheme for marking trails throughout the country, which are still used today. Joseph knew every corner of the mountain and could solve any problem, whether in the field of electricity, heating, keys and more. During that time, he accompanied the construction of the family home in Givat Avni, photographed and documented every stage of building the house. Yosef completed his studies in mechanics at the Anna Frank high school in Kibbutz Sasa, and at the 12th grade he worked for the Nature Reserves Authority, and his teachers from the high school said that he had a special status among his classmates, who respected him greatly. The conscience of the class, his quietness made his friends listen to him and like him, he treated the teachers with seriousness and decency, and when he had to wake them he found the way to do so gently and firmly, which led them to consider his comments.was a smiling, optimistic, And his love for people and animals and all that surrounds him, every heart has caused many of his acquaintances to define him as a “flower “He was inspired by his uncle, Yigal Guy, who was very attached to his close and extended family, loved to travel with them, organized and guided tours and nature walks, and family singing evenings in which he sang and played harmonica, He began to study on his own and continued to study for a year with a teacher, and every weekend there was a cheerful orchestra – organ, flute and harmonica – and Joseph formulated his credo with the following words: “Whatever you do, do as a professional. Everything to professional standards. If you take an amateurish attitude toward the activity you are engaged in, you will eventually have an amateur life. You will not be satisfied because there will be no real production in which you can be proud. Adopt the attitude that everything you do, you do as a professional and raise yourself to a professional level in this field. Never let anyone say you’ve lived an amateur life! Professionals see situations and take care of what they see, they do not shuffle like amateurs. Then learn it as the first lesson in life. The only ones who succeed in every field, including life itself, are those who have a professional point of view that makes them professional and they are professionals. “After graduating from high school, the family entered the house she built in Givat Avni,In the courtyard, built a storeroom and took care of the few animals that passed with the family. He cared for gardening, irrigation, and did not forget the house and did his best before he joined the army. At the end of November 1995, Yosef enlisted in the IDF and served in the Engineering Corps, completing a full year course in the Reconnaissance Company and finishing the course with honors.Yosef was very proud of the Corps and loved his service. Bethlehem in the framework of a cyclical company. In November 1996 he moved to the Communications Department as a liaison. After graduating from the Communications Department, it was decided to transfer him to the position of deputy battalion commander. In this capacity he served eight months. In November 1997 he was assigned to be a battalion commander, and his commanders described him as an excellent, professional, responsible and modest soldier with high motivation who performed his duties very well. And the love of the land, he carried in his pocket the Israeli flag and the Anthem of Hatikva, and toured all parts of the country, a lover of nature and animals, and he did everything he could and even more so in the best possible way. To appoint him as a deputy battalion commander, a position that requires the responsibility usually required of commanders only. During the brief period in which Yosef was part of the battalion’s headquarters, he proved that the decision was correct. He was a superior soldier, devoted to work and his friends. Yosef was killed during his service in a car accident that took place on July 25, 1997 near the Fourier junction from the direction of Tiberias, at the age of 20. In that accident, his brother, Noam, was badly injured: Yosef was laid to rest in the military section of the Givat- Avni left his parents and three brothers, and Yosef was promoted to the rank of First Sergeant after his fall, and his family published a memorial book composed by family members and sections of Yosef’s diaries. : “Yosef was a soldier in the battalion liaison department and about a month before his death, I decided to transfer him to the Command Squad as the deputy battalion commander. Joseph deserved the job because I, his direct commander, the liaison officer and the deputy battalion commander, found many positive qualities. Joseph was responsible, professional, modest, admired his friends and performed his role out of investment and caring. His good temper radiated on his immediate surroundings and sent optimism to those who came into contact with him. In November of this year, he planned to transfer him to the battalion commander. With great sorrow and astonishment, we received the announcement of his death in a car accident while he was vacationing at home. The “Hamachatz” battalion lost one of its best fighters, a soldier who deserved every milestone. “Raya Lavi wrote the song” God’s Apostles “in memory of Yosef, the song that draws lines to his character:” The messenger of God came down to the land / / Love of animals – from chinchilla to dog, / love of nature – rain and sun, morning and evening, / love of trips – from north to south in all ways / love of society – from foreign guests to parents and brothers. To the earth / to teach us, the human beings, / what is the perfection / perfection of performance – from the beginning to the end with all the heart, / the perfection of the emotion – from laughing to tears of pain, / perfection of man – the image of man that everyone wants to be like, To Esau The messenger of God came back to heaven / loved everything and was perfect in body and soul, / for everyone knew – / that he was the messenger of God. “The poet Eli Raveh Wrote a”There are many angels up there / Many are too many / Who are hosting you to the company / in every generation.” So why God, why / did not wait patiently / and quickly, so quick / picking the flower The innocence /? This beautiful flower / Such an innocent angel / With the child’s Doc? / The boy who loved nature / Paths He created in his feet / Find paths to the animals / In loving eyes, His weight is gold. / You held his heartbeat / And his outstretched hands Why do not you wait patiently / fast, so quick / pick this beautiful flower / the flower of innocence? ! “
