Son of Chaya and Aharon, was born on 18.1.1927 in the town of Lappazi, Romania, and grew up as the only son with four sisters. He was educated in the spirit of tradition and absorbed the spirit of religious Zionism from his childhood. At the age of 11, he was already active among the Mizrahi youth in his town and began collecting money for the Jewish National Fund. In 1940 he went to Bucharest and waited for his immigration to Palestine as part of the Youth Aliyah. His hope was not fulfilled, because with the outbreak of the Second World War the borders were closed. He returned to his town and was exiled with all its Jews to the town of Poltishany. His father was held by the authorities as a hostage and the son was assigned to help support the family by giving lessons. From Politshany he managed to move to Botosani, where he joined the Zionist-Zionist underground and held on until the liberation. In 1944, he went on to become a pioneer in Buczacz and in the following year his dream came true. He underwent further training in the field of Yaakov and was accepted as a member of the Sde Eliyahu group. In Passover 5747, he wrote to his parents and expressed his satisfaction at having celebrated the holiday in “Arava Israel”, although he was not yet a “free man” and expressed his hope to see the liberation of the whole a year later. The Yiftach Brigade was taken to the central region and took part in the fighting in the Latrun area, and with the resumption of fighting after the first truce, the brigade participated in Operation Danny and at night On July 17-18, 1948, towards the beginning of the second truce, the “Haemek” battalion seized Shilat and an outpost in the eastern part of the Korikor ridge Threatened the wing of the legion in Latrun, and in the morning it became clear that the Legion force was holding the western part of the ridge, and that the enemy attacked the force from two sides with armored vehicles and that it was forced to withdraw. , On the 18th of Tammuz 5708 (18.7.1948) on the 11th of Adar 5702 (28.2.1950) was transferred to eternal rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
