Breslov, Walter-Morris (“Wally”)


Son of Meir and Jenny. He was born on the 19th of March 1912 in London, the capital of England. He completed a university in England and France and became an engineer. Since 1942 he served in the British Army, joined the Palestine Transport Company and established strong relations with the country. He reached the rank of captain. After his discharge from the British Army, he devoted himself to the country’s security affairs and worked faithfully in this work. He immigrated to Israel in 1949. He was drafted into the IDF in March 1950. He served in the rank of major, and in 1951 he suffered a Lev attack, but until his death on July 22, 1952, he continued his active service. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul, leaving a wife and child.
