Bracha, Shmuel (“Shmulik”)


Shmuel, son of Rahamim and Esther Bracha, was born on December 7, 1948, in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, and his parents immigrated to Israel before the end of the War of Independence, and the entire family experienced absorption in the new country. In the Six Day War, he participated as a saboteur in the Golan Heights, and he fell while carrying out his duties while evacuating Syrian mines from the Banias area on the 1st of Av 5727 (7.8.1967). He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
