Blessiano, Moshe


Son of Zahava and Avraham, was born in 1930 in Sidon, Lebanon. In 1933 he immigrated to Israel with his parents and the family lived in the Hatikva neighborhood near Tel Aviv. Moshe attended elementary school “Yesod HaMaala” and two additional years in advanced training courses for youth. He found his livelihood at work in a printing press, and later in carpentry. He was a shy boy by nature who liked a peaceful life. His first training was in Hagam and with his other friends he moved to the Haganah for the Kiryati Brigade and took part in the defense of Tel Aviv and was recognized as a very loyal and responsible soldier and for the Haganah he was appointed as David son of- He participated in the battles of Abu Kabir, Salameh, Beit Dagon, Beit-Naballah, Sarafand, Lod and Ramle, and finally at the front of Latrun, and during his vacation he visited his brother in Jerusalem and on Yom Kippur On 13 November 1948, when he passed a fire window at the Sheikh Jarrah front, he was shot and killed, and Moshe was brought to rest in the Nahalat Yitzhak Military Cemetery.
