Bitul, Yitzchak-Yosef


Son of Yehuda-Aryeh and Malka. He was born in Tel Aviv on June 6, 1935. After studying at the “Mizrachi” boys’ school, which was founded by his father, he moved to the “Talmud Torah” of the haredi federation. He was a bar-mitzvah student and went to study at Yeshivat HaYeshuv HaChadash in the name of Rabbi Amiel, where he studied at the “Giv’on” Gymnasium, In Tel Aviv, was drafted into the IDF in December 1953 as part of the Nahal Brigade and then enrolled in the “Geulim” settlement nucleus in Tirat Zvi, where he received an officer’s course, and his commanders respected him for his integrity and steadfastness in everything, Determined “in the Lachish region (no He was a loyal friend of his subordinates and his men loved him with great passion On 7 April 1956, he went on a tour of Lachish surroundings with his class. When he managed to rescue them until the last of them, he too began to retreat, but then the enemy ball was achieved. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. After his death he was promoted to lieutenant. For his first anniversary, his parents published a file in his memory (“Zichron Yitzchak”) that includes lines for his character and his estate. That same name was called a charity fund that his parents founded in his memory. He was also named after him and remembered a Torah scroll for a synagogue in Tel Aviv.
