Dan, son of Chava and Yehuda, was born on 19.7.1953 in Tel Aviv, and attended the “Magen” elementary school and then completed his studies at the “New High School” He was a shy, humble, and timid person who nevertheless played many roles in the school, the youth movement, and everything else He was a good-hearted boy who radiated a great deal of personal charm around him, excelled in his integrity, He studied history, sociology, and economics in his home in the “Maoz Aviv” neighborhood, learned to love nature and especially the flora and fauna, and with his parents he went on trips in the vicinity of his residence and eventually joined the company In the framework of which he was able to better understand the country and its landscapes, and could not tolerate harm to animals or plants, and many people toyed with the dream – to build a house in which many different animals would grow up. He was a member of the “President” tribe of the scout movement and at one time served as secretary of the “Almog” nucleus. Dan was drafted into the IDF in mid-November 1971.
