Yosef (Yossi), son of Esther and Shraga Mordechai, was born on 15.3.1949 in Budapest, Hungary, and immigrated to Israel with his family in 1951. He first studied at the Gibor Etzion elementary school in Kiryat He was a member of the religious youth movement “Ezra” and later taught at a branch in Haifa, where he was a music lover and loved to play music. He was also a member of the “Nachshol” group who immigrated to Modi’in and later joined the IDF.
