From childhood, Liat was a smiling and energetic child, full of joy and love of man, full of the need to give and give of herself. Liat was an outstanding student in the Orientalism track. Liat had a natural talent for languages, and in addition to Hebrew she was fluent in English, French, Arabic and Spanish – a language she learned from watching television. Liat grew up in an atmosphere of tolerance and warmth and the ones she lavished on those around her. She treated her friends with respect and appreciation, volunteered at the municipal community center and always took responsibility – to organize the parties, the various events in the school, to raise money for one purpose or another – all out of a genuine desire to help and out of a smile. People loved to be around Liat and she drew attention to her high stature, her laughter and her wonderful imitation, and she showed optimism and faith in herself and the other, and her affection for others also demonstrated physical contact – hearty embraces and a pat on the back. In her love: the words of the songs she loved were pasted on the closet doors, Fos Reem, Kanti, Rita and Rami Kleinstein, and in the many albums she left with her pictures, she usually looks hugging her friends, her family, or is at the center of a group, smiling and radiant with joy.
