Ben-Porat (Elberson), Avraham
Son of Yehoshua and Malka. He was born on March 18, 1934 in Tel Aviv. Until the age of fourteen, he attended elementary school and completed his studies there, was a member of the Scouts movement and later in Maccabi, was a mechanic of vehicles and belonged to Gadna-Yam. From there he was drafted into the IDF in September 1951 and served in the Navy, and on February 23, 1952, Abraham went on a boat with six other soldiers by sea to fill a special position. As a result, the IDF declared the Shiva as missing, and a memorial monument was erected in the missing section of the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
