Baruch, Joseph

Joseph, son of Aharon and Esther Baruch, was born on April 26, 1946 in the city of Bombay, India. The family immigrated to Israel in 1959. In February 1966, he was drafted into the IDF and served in the infantry unit of the Golani unit, dedicated and loyal to his battalion in particular, and to the State in general, and never hesitated to perform the difficult tasks of the IDF. He fell on 1 Sivan, June 9, 1967, the fifth day of the Six-Day War. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Afula.
