Was born on July 27, 1963. He studied at the Tachkemoni elementary school in the Makor Baruch neighborhood, and when his family moved to the Ramat Eshkol neighborhood, he continued his studies at Yad Hamoreh And graduated from the ORT-Hanevi’im vocational school in mechanics, and he dreamed of continuing his father’s project, and from the age of 15 he tried to help him with his work. He was a member of the Scouts movement and volunteered for the Civil Guard, and Doron was a sports fan, played soccer and basketball, and was involved in underwater activities. His officers were recruited to the Engineering Corps, where he completed several courses and was assigned to an officers’ course, but the war disrupted the plans. His friends in the platoon told him that he was a regular in the company, in training and on trips that helped the poor, and encouraged them to continue their efforts. On June 10, 1982, while riding on a combat mission, Doron was traveling with a group of soldiers and his friends in the platoon, near the village of Zahla, on the Beirut-Damascus axis, hit by a Syrian helicopter. With his comrades in the armored personnel carrier. After he was killed, his commanders noted him as “a responsible soldier, very fond of his comrades, who did his best.” He was 19 years old. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl. He left behind his parents and four brothers and sisters.
