David was a warm and dedicated family man, a proud father and a loving and faithful husband. “David was exceptional in his kindness,” wrote his wife, Yaffa, “straight and always willing to help. After his discharge from regular service in the IDF, David continued to serve in the reserves, and throughout the years he fought in all of Israel’s wars, even when he was not in reserve duty.
