He was a devoted and loving son, and did not spare any effort to help his family, nor did he refuse to work hard and did not shy away from working in the building, because the income from this work was the highest. Avraham was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in early February 1967 and assigned to the armored corps, where he underwent several courses and became a tank driver, and his life in the army was not easy. At the beginning of 1970, Avraham was discharged from regular service and enlisted in the Israel Police, and from time to time he went on reserve duty and did not try to evade his duty, even though he was the breadwinner of the family. Fought in fierce battles in stopping the enemy and then in suppressing it on the 12th of Tishrei, 5734 (8.10.1973), while fighting in the area of Firdan, Avraham was killed and his body was missing. In the middle of 1974 his body was found and he was brought to eternal rest in the Ashdod cemetery. Survived by his parents, brother and three sisters. After his fall, he was given the rank of sergeant. In a letter of condolence to the bereaved family, his commander wrote: “Avraham served in an armored unit under my command and was one of its first founders, and I knew him during his reserve service as a devoted soldier, a courageous man and an excellent armor man. It is a great loss for all of us. “
