Avraham, Menashe
Ben Marcel and Avraham. Menashe was born on July 1, 1954 in Or Yehuda, where he grew up and was educated in his hometown. After completing his service he worked in odd jobs until he enlisted in the Israel Police on February 26, 1978. Menashe began his service at Masovim station, and in 1998 he became a station attendant. In 1981 Menashe married Anna, and the couple had two children. The family lives in Or Yehuda. His family describes Menashe as a dedicated person, a person who liked to pamper and indulge himself, a “sick” footballer and a fan of the Hapoel Tel Aviv soccer team, who had a sense of humor, a man who helped everything modestly. Although he continued his work and even went to a course in Shfaram, after about a year his health began to deteriorate, and on May 2, 2004, he died. He was laid to rest in the Jewish cemetery in Yehud, leaving a wife and two children, and Menashe’s two children continued his career in the police force – his daughter as a policewoman and his son as a volunteer.
