Amrani, Abraham


Son of Rachel and Jacob. Abraham was born on 26.6.1930 in Persan, in the village of Novbandan, where some 2,000 Jews lived, and was the second son of a family of six, and his father was engaged in grain trade, and their economic situation was moderate. At the age of seven, Avraham suffered from severe pneumonia, was ill for seven months and was critically ill, but he recovered, and in 1937 a wave of hatred swept through the village and Abraham and his family moved to the city of Shiraz. The second world was interrupted, and Avraham began to study tailoring, where he worked until 1948. With the establishment of the State of Israel, Abraham moved to Tehran and joined the pioneering group of Hakibbutz Hameuhad. She Tehran and arrived in Israel, Kibbutz Givat Brenner. Kibbutz spent several months, and nuclear breakdown due to disagreement was drafted and served in the Air Force as a driver. When he finished compulsory service, Avraham enlisted in the Border Police, where he served for three years. In 1956 he joined the police, where he served faithfully until his death. Abraham lived in Jerusalem. In 1954 he married Shoshana and in the following years he had three children: Ilana, Michal and Yaakov. On the 15th of Tishrei 5740 (15.10.1973), First Sergeant Avraham fell during his service. Forty-three in his fall. He was buried in the cemetery in Givat Shaul, Jerusalem. He left a wife and three children.
